Booking terms

Tutoring services provided are intended for adults and business professionals, or those 18 years old and older.

Classes may be booked and confirmed via my booking link https://italianwithluca.as.me/schedule.php

Each lesson will be hosted via ZOOM or Google Meet. 

Once you've booked your lesson package and have confirmed payment. I will send you a commitment packet with your upcoming lesson dates, and more. 

 

Payment

Package prices are listed per number of lessons.

Group pricing is listed per person, per hour, unless otherwise specified.  

Payment is due at the time of booking a tutoring package. If payment cannot be confirmed, we must cancel your pack, and your preffered date and time may become unavailable. 

Payments can be made via Paypal, or any major credit or debit card.

Refunds

Tutoring sessions are refundable at my discretion. Refund requests must be communicated to me via writing.

Cancellations

Lessons may be cancelled by either party (teacher or client) for any reason. Lesson cancellations must be communicated at least 24 hours before your lesson’s scheduled start time or you will loose those lessons. ONE cancelled lesson per package may be reschedule, at no additional fee. A new date and time must be agreed upon by both parties and confirmed in writing. If cancelled lessons are not rescheduled by the end of the calendar year, you will lose those sessions. If a lesson(s) is/are cancelled by me, they are refundable or transferable, according to the client’s preference, communicated to me.

Lesson etiquette 

Meetings will take place via ZOOM or GMT. Please try and arrive to your lesson on time. I will wait in the online classroom for 10 minutes, before closing our session. I’ll also send a curtosy email 5 minutes into the start of our lesson, if you have not arrived.

Cookies are small text files with small amounts of data that include an anonymous, unique identifier that a website sends to your computer’s hard drive when you visit a website. I, nor Italian with Luca will never sell or share non-aggregated information contained within cookies to any third parties. Similar to other websites we automatically collect some non-identifiable information about who visits our website, such as, but not limited to your IP address, geographic region, language preference, date and number of visits. You may also accept to turn off cookies. Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you may modify your settings/preferences to disable them. If you decide to turn off cookies, you may not be able to use some features of our website, including but not limited to making a reservation, scheduling a video conference with us or other. We may use cookies to better optimize your personal browsing experience, to better service you.

Our website does not collect any identifiable information about individuals, unless information is provided on a voluntary basis, including but not limited to- requesting a brochure, scheduling a chat, requesting pricing, subscribing to our newsletter or booking a reservation.

When providing us with a payment via a debit/credit card you may be directed to a third-party to complete your transaction. Any information you provide during the check- out process is not stored on www.italaianwithluca.com , instead it is provided to the third-party vendor that completes your purchase.

By using www.italainwithluca.com you agree to hold us harmless for any security breach and for any unauthorized use of your personal information by third parties. You, the customer also agree that Italian with Luca cannot be held responsible for any disclosure of your information through www.italianwithluca.com without our knowledge and consent.

Italian with Luca require only the information that is reasonably necessary to enter into a contract with you. We will not require you to provide consent for any unnecessary processing as a condition of entering into a contract with us.

 SOCIAL MEDIA AND COMMENTS

If you leave a comment on any of Italian with Luca’s social media profiles, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. When you leave a comment, your name, email address and website/organization name is not shared with a third party and may be used to communicate with you.

Social media sites (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and the like) can track your personal information. Should you choose to interact with us on social media, please note that you will be voluntarily disclosing that personal information. This information is no longer private. It becomes public information and can be collected and used by others. Italian with Luca has no control over and take no responsibility for the use, storage, or dissemination of such publicly disclosed personal information by you.

Indemnification

You, the client agree to indemnify and hold Italian with Luca and its owner harmless from all losses, claims, damages, actions, suits, demands, judgements and proceedings, including costs, expenses and all attorney’s fees (‘’liabilities’’) assessed against or otherwise incurred by you arising in whole, or in part from, but not limited to actions or omissions whether done negligently or otherwise by you , your agents, directors, officers, employees or representatives; all your actions and use of our www.ItalianwithLuca.com including products and services; violation of any laws, rules, regulations or ordinances by you; violation of any terms and conditions of www.Italianwithluca.com by you or anyone related to you; infringement by you or any other user of your account of any intellectual property or other rights of anyone.
